I join email lists to get info and meet people who have common interests. I want advice from people who have been doing something longer or to get tips from other software users, etc. So how come there is always some tyrant dick on every list? The one who just has to write the snotty answer and slam another member? There was actually a guy on one of my InDesign lists that belittled someone for using a nickname for the software. Come on. Don't people have lives? I want advice about growing kefir and a member has to talk down to another member about a term she used. If people want to start being so petty, maybe we should all start sending them the results of a grammar and spelling check on their shitty responses. What's the point of joining lists if they are going to turn out like a third grade classroom with bullies and babies????
